So for gcse I did more on the bad side achieving 5B 1A and 3C. For Durham I feel that’s the equivalent of getting all U’s, so I was just wondering if I achieve the entry requirements of AAA for A level (teachers say I can) then would my gcse let me down or should I be okay? And is there anything i can do to put on my CV that would give me an advantage?

GCSE English and Maths is standard for most, if not all, degree programs. Other GCSE's are irrelevant, except for a basic foundation to build upon at A level.
Biology, Chemistry & Maths A level would be recommended. But just check their web site for entry requirements.
