You get to learn things that you can apply in the real world, e.g. Linear modelling, data analysis techniques etc, and deal with pension and insurance data and all the fun stuff

i love how maths has helped people both explain and discover a wide range of concepts, both in the world that they see around them and in what borders abstract. i find that learning it gives examples of varied and intelligent ways of thinking using logic as well as creativity, and it only becomes more interesting.

Tbh I like a challenge and I feel Maths questions are an outlet for me to compete with myself(I know this sounds really sad) but I even do questions in my spare time because I genuinely enjoy it that much.

Finding the answer is fun it's like a puzzle. Whereas something like biology is just memorising and repeating it.

Studying maths has really helped me to appreciate its use in day-to-day life. Best thing, personally, is the
satisfaction you feel once you solve a complex question.

Do you think there is a way we can put all your comments together above in a concept for others who are good at maths but don't pursue this to understand?
