I'm a first year student at Uni of Salford studying Psychology and Criminology and to be honest, Salford was one of my last choices when it came to Uni but I joined because it's kinda close to where I live, but I realised a while ago that I wasn't enjoying it and I tried to just let it play out and hope it got better but it didn't. I want to move to Leeds Beckett because they do a more criminology based course but is transferring the only way? I have missed the UCAS deadline for applications, would I be able to withdraw from Salford and apply through Clearing at Leeds Beckett?

You could leave Salford and submit a late application and then if it’s not accepted you could try clearing you might be able to do that

Ring Leeds Beckett up. The deadline is optional for universities. The course may well still be open for late applications.

Clearing is generally only for year 1 entry. If you are hoping to swap into year 2 then checking whether the courses are compatible takes time (which isn’t available in clearing).
