Hello, would anyone have any advice on how to answer an essay question which provides a statement then states, " Do you agree with this statement? Discuss with specific case law examples?"

    Thanks!

State whether you agree with the statement, with reference/analysis of the case law.

State whether you agree with the statement, with reference/analysis of the case law.
Thanks! Would I give the advantages of my view and also the disadvantages of the alternatives and why my own view is the correct one?

You evaluate the sources and what they say. You reach a conclusion based on them. If the facts are uncertain, state both possible outcomes.

The normative implications of the statement are irrelevant.
