Any one know the grade boundaries for higher combined science?
roughly how much mark on each paper to get a 4 ?

We cannot know as grade boundaries are set after all exams are marked to ensure that grades reflect the difficulty of tests.

My teacher said if you get 20% on a higher combined science paper, its a grade 4?

School's grade boundaries are either: based off their own students; based off the actual exam; estimations based on previous tests. Around 20% is usually a grade 4, however these can change every year.
