Essay advice needed!

If there is anybody out there who got at least a B in their A Level History and is strong at writing essays, I need your help!

I am an average C grade essay writer at the moment, but two areas in which I regularly lose marks are my ANALYSIS and LINE OF ARGUMENT.

I am not very sure what analysis actually is, which is pitiful; and when it comes to the line of argument, I struggle to form a line of argument and incorporate it into my essays. I have an informed opinion, which helps, but I struggle to form my line of argument to the A-Level standard required.

Another factor in which I am weak is writing introductions and conclusions. How do you write a conclusion, enticing the reader but keeping it brief? How does one write a conclusion without it just being a boring repetition of the factor paragraphs?

Is there anybody out there who can help? In case it is relevant, my exam board is AQA.

Thank you!
