I probably misread but, is a PGCE a masters course?
I'm going to be doing Maths, and possibly a PGCE after. if I did this would I still be able to go on and do a masters in maths later on?

A PGCE contains credits of an Education Masters - usually 60, I think, though for some courses it's temporarily 90 if you pick it back up at the same institution within X years, or 120 at some places. If you wanted to do a Masters in Maths, I'm pretty sure that'd be completely separate as the PGCE Masters won't be in Maths itself, but rather education/teaching.

    Thank you.
I'm currently seeing so much information at the moment, it's hard to keep it straight, and it's such a big decision that I really need to get right first time.
