Hello. I started my driving lessons in late January 2018 and have already had 12 lessons with my instructor. I'm learning automatic and I think I picked it up quite quickly. I'm however not satisfied with my instructor. Although most of the time he seems good in instructions, other times he keeps raising his voice which really stresses me out. He has a new car and every time there is a piece of paper, or branch on a road or a small pothole he takes over my steering wheel and steers around or tells me to do it and if I don't see this paper etc on a road he just raises his voice and is really angry explaining that it is a new car and I need to be careful... Second thing is that I recently bought a second hand card and have had about 10-12 private lesson with my family member. I feel like I've learned more with this family member than with him as I've done about 100 miles in dual carriage way in total. My driving instructor don't take me on dual carriageway much.... he also showed me how to do manoeuvres once and my scores from him are 2, 2/3 or 3 for everything I do. I don't agree with his marks either as I feel that I check my mirrors without him needing to prompt me , as I do it all on my own when driving with my family member. I'm just not making steady progress I think as since my first lesson up to now lesson 12 I'm still on 2 or 3 in his marking of my abilities.
Forgot to add, one lesson costs me 35 quid, so really need to make a decision if I want to stay with him.

Thank you. Needed to hear that, but posted the question becauseI wasn't sure whether I'm being irrational and overreacting about it all or not.
