My friend and I turn 18 next month, and decided to have a joined party. Just need some advice on things to buy before hand, what food to get, music?

Also, some background I live really far away from my school so have close friends from where I live and friends from my school and I don't want it to be awkward between them.

By the way, there is also a night club super close to my friend's house, should we just have pre-drinks and go out to the nightclub?? That way people can't blame us for having a bad party instead they will blame the nightclub for music etc???

If you’re getting party hosting advice from TSR, thank god im not invited.

Even though I’ve basically ripped up my own credentials, my advice is have plenty of seats, good speakers, a good playlist, lighting is so important (tons of fairy lights + some flashy lights) and some snacks/finger foods (just google it and pick what you like). And make sure the music in the kitchen isn’t too loud, that’s always like the social area. House parties done right always beat nightclubs.

also, so should probably mention we made a list of people we might invite and we have around 60 people, is this too much to tell people they can bring +1s and +2s?
