I've liked a guy for nearly two years, and even though we briefly became friends last summer, he now chooses to ignore me for an unknown reason, and because he's in year 11 and I'm in year 9, I don't know how I'll be happy when he leaves. I can't get over him no matter how much I occupy myself, even my last relationship lasted a month because I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Honestly you should move on, those two year or more crushes are a waste of time and if he doesn't talk to you anymore than its even more of a waste of time. Focus on your school, friends and other things, and if you see him less the better. Honestly it is a good thing he will be moving away, you won't have to see him anymore and it will help you get over him quicker. I was in this situation when I was 15-16 and I look back at it as a waste of my time and I'm glad I never ended up with that guy in the end. Don't look at it as a bad thing but rather a blessing, you will realize that when you move on from him.

It's probably just a crush and it'll fade away in time, you'll forget about him soon and move on, you never know there might be a year 9 guy who suddenly turns into a hottie, trust me it could happen!
