Some of my answers I can remember:

t = 13.0s
u = 4sqrt(ag)
u : v = 2 : sqrt(5)
r = sqrt(3)/4 * L (really not sure about this one)

Lmao will I lose a mark for leaving is as 4:2sqrt5
I just realised what a jackass I am, I got 259seconds for that question cos I had written that equation to be /600 instead of 30 ffs.
How many marks am I gonna lose for that :frown:
how to get dv/dt?
Original post by Parhomus
I got u=4root(ag)

I got 4rootag,and 4:5 for part 2

I got 3.6 any one else?
yep

I left it as 4:2sqrt5 so hopefully not many lmao

Some of my answers I can remember:

= 52cm
m = 2.67kg
t = 30ln(11.4/(3g-v)) -> when v = 22ms^-1, t = 13.0s
u = 4sqrt(ag)
u : v = 2 : sqrt(5)
r = sqrt(3)/4 * L (really not sure about this one)

I got all of these and ŷ as 40.5cm I think

2.67kg

Did u take into consideration the mid point of the lamina, cuz I got 3.6

What mass did people get on q 1?

8/3 kg I think, so like 2.67

how to get dv/dt?
differentiation, anyone

Yes.
I did it by moments about the midpoint as well and got the same answer.
Made two mistakes:

When doing Q7 c I wrote down my previous equation wrong.

When doing Q8 when I cancelled the reaction forces near the end I cancelled down to 0 instead of 1 on one side. Feel like a right idiot.
Does anyone know how the method marks work?
Will I get all the method marks for question 5 considering I did it all correct, but accidentally had written the dv/dt equation to be 3v-g/600 in the calculus question.
:frown:
Such a stupid thing to lose marks for honestly

Surely you didn’t have to take into consideration the mid point mass because it was on the X line

3(root3)L/8 = r for last q??
We all got sqrt(3)l/4
Does anyone remember their answer to 7? Because honestly if I didn’t get 7 right I’m not going to uni

Which part?
I think for the final part I got x=(20-mu*g)/20
Original post by Parhomus
I got (root3)L/4=r

Same here.

The big mark part is the one I mean also I didn’t get that :facepalm:
It was the second to last part

I think I got the square root of that
