this past year I've been studying Psychology at a London uni, I've been quite unhappy there and have wanted to switch uni and possibly course (to Radiography) however im not sure on how to do this as i applied to uni the first time round through college, got my reference from my teacher there and my personal statement is basically about Psychology, so to apply somewhere else do I have to go through this whole process again, making a new personal statement, getting a reference and paying ? or is there a simpler way to do this? and if so is there some kind of deadline for the UCAS stuff?

Student finance allows one gift year where you can change your mind.
If you are unhappy with course and uni, then leave imo. Question is leave nw or do the exams. If you will do well in exams , then it can look tidier and makes you look like a better candidate imo.

For Radiography, then unless its a transfer at the same uni(you dont like it), then you submit a fresh ucas application. Maybe you need to take a gap year to get some experience for radio? It may be a bit late for 2018, but you will need to check say 10 courses to id what you need and the timetable.

Your application can either be done with your uni providing a reference or your previous referee. In any event you will need to formally leave your uni and meet with your personal tutor. the procedure and form should be on the website. They will check why and make sure it cant be turned round, but will let you go.

There are a few financial applications depending when you leave, but do it by the first year and you have complete funding for a whole degree left if you havent used funding before.

Radiography is an exempt healthcare degree too. So even if you have a degree already you would still get funding for it
