so it sounds awful, but my friend in school has lately been getting on my nerves, they always moan about literally everything, and they’re being extremely moody with me even when I try to help. also, she never does her school work anymore which is fine, but she tries to stop me from doing mine too! and she always says “what are we doing” when the teacher literally just explained it. and I’ll spend 5 minutes telling her and she’ll say “ah i can’t be bothered anyway”she really is winding me up lately and she’s very self centered, I don’t know how to break up the friendship without an argument, I can’t be friends with someone so negative and moany.

Talk to her about it. If she refuses to change still... then slowly just stop hanging out with her/interacting till eventually she gets the message. If you want it to end faster, do what 9 yearold me did in the same situation and say "I dont want to be your friend anymore" lol. Though thats a little savage

Text her instead of telling her face-to-face

Literally have the same problem. I think the best thing to do is to just confront her in the best way possible without sounding to harsh that you want to get on with what your doing. And yes it is hard to be friends with someone who is negative don't allow that into your life that's what I say, only positiveness.

Tell her that she shouldn't be a lazy prick.

If I were you, I would find new friends.

haha! I’d have to get pretty drunk to say that, but yeah, I’d rather hang around with my other friends that I have something in common with
