In the past I studied for a Professional Certificate through work sponsored route at Nottingham Trent University. I am considering applying to attend University full time to do a BA Hons Degree from Sept 2018, would I still be able to get a student loan for my course fees?

    Hi mledo1sc,

Previous study at the higher education level may be considered when assessing student's entitlement to finance.

This will depend on whether they studied full-time or part-time and if they received a qualification.Professional qualifications are not taken into account.

A professional qualification would not be taken into account.

    Regards Rona
