Hello, I need help with this question I have already worked out (A) and I need help with (B). Can anyone help with this, please? I am a little bit confused about units

    First 100 units = 24p per unit
Remaining units = 16p per unit

Mrs. Watt checks her electricity bill.

    Here are her meter readings.

    New reading: 7143 units
    Old reading 6997 units

    (A) User subtraction to calculate the number of units used. the answer to this part = (146)

    (B) Calculate the cost of the number of units used ??!

for first 100 units of 146 units it will be: 24x100= 2400p
for the rest of the units (146-100= 46) it will be = 46x16= 736p
so the total cost of number of units used will be 2400+736= 3136p in total
