    In the UK, there are international levels to compete at. Generally the athlete pyramid goes: school, junior, senior, podium potential, podium.
    You can have athletes up to U23 - further if you take it on competitively
    There are open events and closed ones. Closed require you to get a certain distance. Your question is a bit vague for me to answer really!
