Look at it logically- Edinburgh is one of the best universities in Scotland, they aren't going to offer a degree which doesn't allow you to carry on into post grad study. That'd be pointless and stupid on their part. Where have you got that information from?

MA is merely a master of arts, and MSci is master of science. There is no real difference between the two, its the exact same as doing a BA or a Bsc in England. The reason it is an MA rather than a Msc might be because it is pure maths, whereas the Msc courses tend to have a slight science basis, such as maths and statistics or applied maths, or joint honours in computing or physics. If you're worried you could probably change your degree to normal maths, rather than pure maths when you get here but it won't make any difference in the long run.

Maths Msci/Mmath (Same thing) is an 'integrated masters' degree, not offered at Edinburgh. 4 year course in England, 5 years in Scotland. Described elsewhere as an 'enhanced' undergraduate degree. Basically instead of doing your 3 year BSc plus Masters. You'd have to look around for opinion on which route is better though.

The Pure Math MA is what it says. Basically exactly the same as the BSc except that applied maths modules are not compulsory (eg in first year BSc students do all 6 modules, MA students don't have to do Diff. Equations or Linear Programming).
