I'm finishing college this year. Already got my uni offers back and I'm down to my top 2 unis for undergraduate - one is for English Literature alone, one is a mix of Literature, Language and Writing - and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do after. In an ideal world I want to teach English.
I know I'd prefer to teach it to over 11s, but I'm not sure if I'd prefer teaching at high school or college level. I tried to pop in to the careers centre but we've had a bunch of snow days and college is still running on skeleton staff. I also tried to set up shadowing an English lesson at the local high school but not got far.
I am like 90% certain there's a postgraduate I could be looking into but I'm not sure what exactly and I'd like to get an idea at least now so I can talk to my uni as one of them is already emailing round about doing work experience during undergrad and I know the other one has waaay more postgrad options so if I might be going there for postgrad, too, it would be nice to figure it out now.
So, yeah, to recap: Currently in college, thinking about postgrad, want to teach English to age 11+ students.

You'd need to do a PGCE
