What do you mean by remove?
Normally GS isnt accepted, but you should check the entrance requirements. I know it might seem obvious but have you asked Kings admissions?

I put General Studies onto UCAS as a pending qualification in October, but now I no longer wish to take it. Will it leave a bad impression if I remove it from UCAS now after receiving an interview invitation. Or will Kings not even bat an eyelid and just remove it if I ask.

They wont care. Most unis completely ignore GS A level except as fourth, but even then pay little attention. For obvious reasons. If you really must then you can tell them at the interview, but I doubt they were ever going to take it into account.
