Hi everyone. My name is Hans Janus. I started on a degree course in music production at Hull last September. It's going great...only problem I am finding is how hard it is to mix and talk to other students in other areas of study. Basically... I do a bit of rapping, have got a few videos on Youtube and had my first mixtape accepted by a big distribution company so it's now available to download and stream on all digital platforms.

Only problem is...I want to talk to other art students, video editors, fashion designers, artists etc. to see if we could collaborate on certain projects of mine. You scratch my back I scratch yours kinda thing in the student way of life.

There are very limited options aside from putting posters up on a wall which I'm sure you know, 9 out of 10 people ignore.
I guess I am asking advice on what would be the best way to put out there on a forum or some other platform what I am looking for and if anyone would like to work together on some projects.

I guess it doesn't have to even be just in Hull, this could be a nationwide thing, though it would make it much easier if it were local.

Any advice? Thanks. Good to be here.

It is difficult. You may want to think about starting a website maybe. Flyers are a good way to go but are there any student societies or groups you can link up with or maybe start one at uni?

We have like a fitfinder/overheard at uni facebook page. maybe see if there's one of those, if not start one?
