Alrighty, I’m sorry if this question has been asked a million times but I’m really lost. I’ve received an offer for a postgraduate european and commercial law degree at Durham and being french, I have no clue of which college to pick.
I’m not rich, therefore it’s better for me not to pick an en suite room, right ?
Is it better to be self catered or not ?
Which college is closer from the law department ?
I just want a nice college with open minded people, I’m not rich nor religious, I just want to have fun and work in peace, do you have an idea of what kind of college would suit me ?
Jeez, Britain is confusing.

If en suite rooms are cheaper, maybe. If you can afford en suite, maybe not.
Self-catered if you want to cook for yourself. Catered if you wanna be fed. Can you afford catered?
If you look on Google Maps, you can look for the law school and see how far the other colleges are. There are about 3 quite close.
Colleges are open-minded. Few people are religious; Durham has lots of rich people, but there are many people from humble beginnings. Many international students too; they have no problem mixing with the Brits, and have each other to socialise with too.
