    Hi,
I am going to be going to UOL for my medicine course, I was wondering which accommodation is the best in terms of socialising with other people and also going out to clubs etc.

I was thinking of Opal Court since its really close to the medical school, but is that a good idea to go there as a first year?

    Thank You !

    Hey there!
I was looking at Opal court as well. Not sure if it's as sociable as the village though :/
I'm international so can't go see for myself either.
PM me if you wanna chat

    Hi both,

You'll be welcome wherever you choose to stay, whether you are in first year or not. However it is true that most first years choose to live in Oadby, if you'd rather be around people in the same year as you.
In terms of night life, city living is closer to the university and town, but there is a free bus that goes from Oadby to the O2 on Wednesdays and Fridays. There is also a city bus that goes to campus and town.

    Hope this helps,

    Jai
