So I just had my March mocks (I took maths, biology, chemistry and Philosophy). However, they can definitely be described as a big shock to me as they were particularly hard this time. My December mocks were more successful and I got 4 A’s in them, but this time I’m genuinely scared I got U’s in some of them. The whole year found them difficult, but I know that’s not an excuse to think that therefore it’s okay to fail them. I don’t think I did bad in biology and philosophy, but I feel like I did so awful in maths and chemistry that even getting a D wouldn’t be a disappointment for me, as long as I don’t get a U. I also just hate disappointing not only myself but also my teachers.

I guess my question is, have any of you been in the same situation once? Do you know people who didn’t do as well in their mocks but nevertheless got predicted high grades and achieved A’s in the real exams?

Don’t worry you will be fine as long, my school kicks students out if they don’t get Cs by the end of the first year so consider yourself lucky. And you can still get high predicted grades it doesn’t matter about one exam they will consider everything such as your class work and previous exams
