    Hey,

I'm in year 13 and I haven't applied to uni.
I am going to apply next year for maths.

Is it possible to get a job that is relevant to the course in some way?

I am also quite good at programming, but no where near the level of a professional software engineer etc.

    Cheers

Nope. Quantitative jobs related to Maths would expect you to have finished undergraduate level Maths, so it's way beyond your abilities.

I'd suggest you get any job, and practice Maths during your spare time (e.g. if you haven't sat Further Maths you could do it during gap year, or do STEP papers), since you will be mostly judged on you Mathematical abilities rather than work experience and such.
