I was starting to think i was the only person who hadnt got what they had asked for on the accomodation form... so all these people in the same boat makes me feel better! when i rang up, apparantly all the people who were on a gap year last year get first choice, hence all the ensuite rooms taken! which i dont think is fair! but hey its only a year!

It is a bit of a coincidence I suppose.

wahoo radiohead fans! I have a minor obsession, and want to see them live but never get the chance!

You'll be able to spot me in langwith A from the radiohead music blaring out of my room - bullocks to this 'quiet area' business.

I saw them at the MEN Arena in Manchester last year - one of the best gigs I've ever been to! Good taste in music all of you, I approve

It's gonna take about four hours in the car maybe? Or even longer, my dad is a slow driver and we're gonna be very weighed down with stuff!

On the plus side the lady (a Langwith Admin, or something similar) told me that my room is double bed even though I'm not sharing.

They make you share a bed with a stranger!?

hahaha, no, you misunderstand. My room is a double, ie there are two beds, it's a bit bigger. But I don't have to share, I'm being given it on a single basis. So I get a slightly bigger room to myself!

haha, did you think I was weird saying that sharing a bed was a plus?

Depends who you're sharing with I guess
I can imagine an extra bed coming in useful, especially if you have mates from Halifax who are too paralytic to trudge back home!
