    Hi,
    I am a care worker ,and I wish to study nursing. My question is regarding financial help, both for studies and help with living cost.

    I hold an EU passport but I am working in England since January 2014 . How would be better for me to apply as EU, English student or migrant worker? My partner is working full time, and I would like to continue with my job part - time.

    Thank you

    Hi Ramona,

    As an EU National you are required to meet the five year residency requirement in the UK, prior to the first day of the academic year to apply as a home student.

    EU students are entitled to a Tuition Fee loan only.

    The Migrant Worker Team assess EU students who do not meet the required standard eligibility requirements but the student or their EU/EEA family member are working in the UK.

    If you are working in the UK you will be pleased to know that you can apply as a Migrant Worker.

    SFE students who wish to apply as a Migrant Worker should apply as a full time home student online or by paper.

    The application they should complete will be a PN1

    Paper application should be posted to;

    EU Migrant Worker Team
    Student Finance England
    PO Box 89
    Darlington
    DL1 9AZ

    Thanks Rona
