I have been suffering this week with a fever, however, I have been attempting to tackle it in every way possible (extra sleep, eating more calories, taking more vitamins, avoid going outside). I feel it is slowly going away now and am feeling more capable of working, I have missed a decent amount of lectures though and have a class in 2 hours, is it worth me going? I had done the readings for the class and did feel very comfortable on the topic, I feel very guilty though not going since classes are compulsory, but I do want to make sure that I fully recover from this fever.

More seriously, if you have the lecturer notes, and are comfortable with the material, let the lecturer know you've been unwell (and PT if not already, as I'm sure admin will be notified of absence and want explanation). And leave it to Monday. Not worth the stress while you are recovering.

Ok, even after a quick google search I was unable to come up with the definition.
