so at my school my chair of governors have no contact details and the only address provided is the school address even if you're trying to make a complaint against the headteacher
so I did and waited several weeks with no reply
And when I've asked the school they've told me that the governors got my letter but the post wasn't working then they told me that they were on holiday and it's always an excuse then yesterday the headteacher sent me a letter home saying she saw the compliant that was made against her and says she sees no issues with the school and that she doesn't wish to speak with me but she had no right to see the letter .
I dont know what you are complaining abut nor can I assess the merits of whatever your complaint is. Their response appears to be inadequate though. I think last time I suggested you make sure you have entered the official complaints procedure which should be outlined on their site. All schools must have one.
If I were in your position, then you now have two complaints:
1. The original one against the headteacher.
2. A complaint about their complaints procedure and how it was handled. they appear to have dismissed it and taken little interest in letting you state your case nor reaching a decision.
The next people to contact are the Department of Education.
Form is here. You might want to ring them first. Hard for me to say but you should really bring your parents in or get some advice before you go ahead just to check and know that schools are unlikely to take kindly to being complained about.
