Judging the imminent trade war with EU

    No financial passporting
No freedom of movement (devalued citizenship) (inability of business mobility)
No regulatory freedom of trade potential loss of ability to fly

Leaves the UK begging and hoping for a North America trade deal

Leaves UK under the pity of Donald Trump?

Either way UK will not be strong enough to functionally totally independently in a globalized world.

    Thoughts?

That it is a dumb title.

Other countries manage to survive being outside the EU.

Depends what you mean by totally independent.

It will be a sovereign nation and not bound by the responsibilities of EU membership. Anything else then we have to see what the deal is.

Whether Trump gives us a trade deal or not, then we will still trade with the US and the EU.

Well if its not an EU member state, then it becomes a US colony to an extent, searching for hope and kind words from Donald Trump, who seems more concerned with meetings in North Korea then outcomes for the UK.

Dont be absurd because by that reasoning all countries not in the EU are US colonies.

    1.
a country or area under the full or partial political control of another country and occupied by settlers from that country.
