Hi, this is probably a really obvious answer, but I've been given an unconditional offer to do a HNC this year. However I'm also applying to uni. If I accept the college offer, that's not going to automatically cancel my uni applications or something? Sorry, I just want to be sure before I do anything, thanks!

Nope as they arent connected via UCAS. You will have to get out of the college place though. How soon do you have to accept?

Hi, thanks for replying. I have 3 weeks to accept, so I'm thinking I'll obviously accept it and in the miracle that I do get to uni then I'll just detract my place

probably be ok, but some colleges can be pains.

Tbh if uni is what you want then do your whole degree there.

If you dont have the grades then just resit. You could also attempt an access course or a degree with a foundation year.
