self study of Hinduism

Are there any suggestions for studying Hinduism at AS level without any guidance from a teacher. Is it advisable to do so?

OMG - I'm planning on self-studying Islam, whilst doing rest of units with teacher, are you from Yr11 and what board is your spec?
I would say only do it, if you've reviewed the specification and are comfortable with the topics and areas of study, of course further study will follow!

I'm doing the CIE a levels and yes i'm in year 11.Thanks for the advice. i do have one question for you though- do you ever feel stressed because of the fact that u have to work independently? from where do you get ur resources?
