    When I bench I feel like one arm is hanging off the bench more. This is good for that arm but my other arm feels really restricted and this just makes the lift harder.

    I am benching right now (currently resting between sets). Idk if this is happening because I always try to tighten my back

    If you can, maybe take a video from behind you and see if you're central on the bench?

    My first thought is feels like and reality aren't the same thing so do double check. And then check you're not squint. If it's not then can you be more precise (or better video it), what part of your arm is where exactly and where do you think it should be?


    Tight back is doing it right. Everything should feel tight, you want to be setting a solid base.

    Yeah need to look at whether you're setting yourself up square with the bench. A lot of people have there legs at different positions which takes them off square.

    That our you're not pulling/ able to pull both your shoulder blades into position
