    When it comes to 2nd ODE in the form of these below, I can find the general solution of them

    y'' + y' + y = 2x

    or

    y'' + y' + y = 5\sin{3x}

    but if you had two C.F.'s in one equation i.e.

    y''+y'+y=2x+5\sin{3x}

    How do I go about finding the general solution of the equation?

    Try a combination of the two, so y=Ax+Bcos(3x)+Csin(3x)
