My family are planning to move house to a no good area and I have no choice but to move with them but I don't want to because that area is not safe there is a high crime rate. Also if we move there then I will have to catch a different bus to and from uni. The journey to uni will be fine but on the journey home, It won't be safe. My uni is a distance away from the uni and I would have to cross a few main roads which isn't safe at this time of year when it gets dark early and I finish uni after it gets dark and the gangs come out earlier.

Plus I have a uni work deadline coming up in a few weeks then I am on placement after easter. If we move when will I have the time to pack for the move when all my time is spent on uni work. It just isn't possible.

I'm really afraid and don't want to move to that area but my Mum is keen to move there. What can I do to prevent this move? I want to move out of current house because the landlord is no good he rarely does any repairs but when he does he shouts at my mum and accuses us of damaging things when we don't. Everything in the house is weak and old. everything needs replacing but the landlord doesn't care. the boiler needs replacing. Whenever theres a routine boiler check, the person says it is too dangerous and needs to be replaced but the landlord is refusing to do it I don't want to move to the area my family are thinking of moving. We cant complain to anyone about the landlord or he will get angry and evict us.

I don't know why my family wants to move somewhere so unsafe. I get we need to leave this house for our safety but we wont be any safer going to such an unsafe area. I really hope we don't move there. ever since I found out today I've been hoping it doesn't happen.

Is there any reason why you can't move out for uni?
