I’m ok at maths- I consistently got 7s in my reports over the last 2 years but I really want to get a 9 for my GCSE and I want to take it this year- in Year 10 but I am extremely distressed because I got a 5 in my last report, but apparently my new teacher didn’t give us grades properly and there was some mistake- everyone got 3-6 when they all have targets of 7 and 8. My parents shouted at me for the last 2 weeks. Anyway, I would like to know if I start revising now- 3 months before the exam for ~6 hours per day what are my chances of getting an 8/9? I also have 1 other GCSE to take this year but it’s a language that I already speak fluently in so it needs very little revision. Thanks.

Don’t fry your brain with revision. That’s enough time. Keep a positive mindset, revise your subjects properly and go over past-exam papers. Attend revision booster classes if available at school?

6 hours a day is more than enough, its really unnecessary, I know someone who use to study 2-3 hours a day and managed to get A*s in all subjects, like the previous person said, don't over do it, take regular breaks, youre hard work will definetly pay off. Goodluck!
