    Hi, I've just finished my mocks and I got one 9, two 8's and five 7's. The grade boundaries seemed quite reasonable. But when I look at forums on this website, I see people saying that the got about 6+ A*s (Grade 8 or 9). I am one of the top scorers in my school and yet the fact that I got only 3 A* equivalent score makes me wonder whether schools raise the grade boundaries for the mocks.

    As we don't know grade boundaries for most subjects due to the new GCSEs, schools will come up with their own.

    Exam boards are producing mocks with grade boundaries in Maths so I guess there are others too. You still have a couple of months to improve ...
