For some strange reason I was rejected for UCl Economics & Economics with a year abroad, for reasons I am unsure of.

Don't know whether to take a gap year and reapply or not. Feel that Durham is too boring and Bristol isn't that prestigious especially for IB. Any thoughts?

You can reapply but I mean it's the same luck needed to get an offer. I applied, didn't get an offer, went to a different uni instead. Many other people do that too... just have to move on or wait a year (basically wasting it unless you have something to do) and re-apply. No guarentees
