I'm moving house soon and have a lot of belongings. I want something to pack them into that won't take up a lot of space. What would you recommend apart from suitcases?

We found collapsing crates useful as you just fold them afterwards; however, it depends how much stuff you have!

I used boxes too. And bin bags for things like clothes.

You can buy vacuum storage bags that you can put things in (usually soft furnishings and clothes) and then use a vacuum cleaner to remove all the air. The bag then takes up only a fraction of the volume it did when full.

For everything else, I'd say pack in boxes with scrunched up newspaper inside to fill any gaps to reduce movement.
