Hi, as I'm applying for Medicine at uni in October, I've decided to start writing early. I wanted to know how to write this, what to include, and what uni's want? Thanks

    This book is useful too:

Whatever you do, don't ever post your PS on public forums for review as it will be cached by search engines and then flag up during plagiarism checks.

Isn't it a bit early to be writing your PS though? Have you already done your work experience and so on?

It's very early to be writing your PS- I wouldn't do it now personally, you'll get sick of it.
Anyway whatever you include, link it to medicine. Also if you mention extra curriculars, link it to medicine. Also do quality over quantity-don't list all your experiences, choose a couple and talk about them in detail.

Finish your exams first and then start it over the summer when you have the relevant experiences.
