So, this guy came to town for an internship a couple months ago and we have a mutual friend who brought him along to a party(ish) I was at. I thought we hit it off well; we had good conversation and were laughing at each others jokes etc (all my friends think so too but not sure that’s a particularly useful piece of knowledge.)

Anyway; we semi-made plans to see each other again but he couldn’t make it (genuine reason; he didn’t just ditch) but I didn’t see him again before he left town.

I sent him a fb request and he denied it (cringy ik) and I was ready to leave it at that bc he lives a few hours away.

But now he’s coming back for a year long apprenticeship and possibly staying w/my friend. Basically; we’re definitely going to socialise; should I pursue this or just leave it?

I would see how it feels once he arrives, if you’re getting along great then sure, pursue it! But if it feels awkward then I’d leave it.
