I'm looking to leave my current job (I'm a geophysicist, working in image processing for oil and gas exploration). I think it's a cool, fun job but I just can't see a future here. I'm a maths graduate btw.
I'm having a long think about what to do but I'm struggling with careers.
What cool/fun/different /enjoyable jobs do you guys do?
My preference for a career is something that allows me to use my technical skills to solve real world problems and has real life outcomes. For example in my current role, the work I do helps oil and gas companies make decisions on whether to drill for oil or not.
Ideally something that's technical that involves travelling but that's not the be all and end all.
Thanks in advance all!
