Okay so I'm YR10 and have started GCSE subjects but want to know more about marking schemes and college

How many GCSEs do you need for uni/college? (on average)

How many GCSEs is Science worth (not triple, just core)

Will colleges/uni be less likely to take you if you don't do well in Science

    Thanks

For college, you need passes in 5 GCSEs including Maths and English. Unis typically only care about passes in Maths and English and not the number of GCSEs you have. When it comes to science, it depends which courses you want to do and how badly you’ve actually done. Passing is preferable to failing, after all.
