I've done a personal research project for high school of about 10000 words (I think it's what UK students call an EPQ) about how the past has influenced English to become the means of communincations it is today. I've been thinking about publishing it somehwere, maybe to my local library or some other place.
Does anybody have any experience in publishing their own work? How did you go about it?

I understand that you are proud of it, but the odds of it being publishable quality are slim.

Sorry, I should have formulated it better. I know that really publishing it is impossible and it's not that good either. I just wanted a place where I could share it with other students such as on a student information sharing platform. When I did the research, I was searching for such a platform to see how others did it but never found it. I thought it might be helpful for other students in the future as a reference of sorts.

You could upload it to academia.edu or something?
