I was going to apply to Warwick for maths, so I would have done STEP I, but I'm not going to anymore, for various reasons. Just out of interest, is STEP still worth the £50 if don't need it to get into University? I've done some prep for it, but not a great deal.

    Thanks

Best place to ask STEP-y questions is the STEP prep 2018 thread. Preparing for STEP is useful in that it gets you into the mindset of university level maths, but if you don't need the exam you can always work through some questions without sitting the paper! I would suggest the foundation modules of the STEP Support Programme maths.org/step as preparation for a university maths / maths heavy degree.
