    Please help me with this question I've tried it .

    A cylinder of propane C3H8 contains 16kg of liquidefied gas. using the balanced chemical equation calculate the minimum mass of oxygen gas needed for complete combustion of the gas in the cylinder. (4 marks)

    Try writing the balanced equation for the oxidation reaction and use the ratios to work out the moles, and then mass.

    C3H8 + 5 O2 --- > 3 CO2 + 4 H2O

    Use the Mr of propane to calculate # moles in 16,000 g.

    Multiple # moles above by five, as per stoichiometry.

    Use the Mr of oxygen gas to calculate the mass of above # of moles.
