How important is it to attend Uni offer holder days? watch

    • Thread Starter

I am an Eastern-European Economics applicant trying to decide between UCL and Warwick.
The problem is, that attending offer holder days wouldn't only cost a small fortune but the travelling time would also mean that I loose a lot of study time I otherwise could spend at preparing for my final exams.
Warwick has offer holder days for Economics applicants while at UCL the most I could get is a tour around the uni.
Warwick also has an online chat with tutors, so I could ask my question about the course there, too.
What do you think, would it be important for me to attend the offer holders day?

its only important if you are having a hard time choosing between the two. Since you do have other resources, you shouldnt worry bout it.
If you really want to go, some unis offer bursaries for travel to their open days, you can phone them and find out about them

Have you visited the places? Personally I found just visiting the unis helped me decide what ones I liked and didn't like.
Your exams are important however, and if its going to be costly it may not be worth it.
It depends more on you and what you think is important, if its the course that matters the most you can google that. If you think the city will make an impact, it may be worth visiting
