I seem to have really bad luck... watch

I've found that I seem to have bad luck with dating. Either people are overbearing and want too much too early, or they're distant and almost never there when texting.
I like someone on here because they're neither but I will not reveal my identity, nor shall I reveal the person's name.

Can anyone offer advice to me on how to deal with this?
I'm also feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount I've had to deal with in the last week so I'm sorry if this thread seems repetitive or annoying, I'm just tired

Just as long as you know what it is you want and dont settle for something you dont want. Just keep looking. Just realise plenty of people are looking and plenty are trapped in unhappy relationships, so being single is far from all bad. Sometimes just getting from one day to the next is a victory, so dont put to much pressure on yourself and work through it slowly.

First of all, next time you're tired, go to sleep. Stressful things always seem better or less important after sleeping on it.

Someone's online forum persona can be 50 shades different to how they are in real life as someone to live with. Online methodfs are fine for meeting a quantity of people, but the quality will be highly variable and impossible to determine before meeting them.

Do you really need someone to text you - not too much & not too little - to spend great times with them when you're together?

You are right to avoid overbearing partners.

Finding the right person can be a numbers game. Just like finding the right job. Keep applying and you'll make your own luck. Plus there are a few things you might be able to tweak to improve your chances of finding and keeping the right person.

As another member stated, keep going, keep pushing.

Look for the qualities you want in people and keep going.

You could try online dating, speed dating, joining clubs out of interest, meeting people through meet up's, hobbies, through work, through your network and approaching them.

    Good luck
