Does anyone have experience with York Notes guides? Would you advise sometime taking gcse English lit to go for as/a level guides for the higher grades? And if so, what’s the differences between the ones called ‘advanced’ and the ones with ‘AS/A’ in the title?

Mr Bruff would do me and I like the look of Licharts as well. Not sure you n need A level texts as they examine at greater depth but might be overkill.
