# Inverse trigonometry help. watch

1. Sorry for the bad quality. I need help with this question
2. Since AD = 13m and ABCD is a rectangle, BC = 13m. Which function links the adjacent, hypotenuse and the angle?
3. you dont need inverse trig for this, you use inverse trig to find an angle when you have 2 sides.
4. As its a rectangle length BC is 13m.

So cos(74) = 13/BD

Rearrange to 13/cos(74) = BD and you find that BD = 47.2
