There are 3 parts to this question

    1) do any of you know any cheapish places to get textbooks/revision guides? I can’t afford £30 a book

    2) Do any of you have any tips on teaching yourself from a textbook besides my usual flash card method?

3 a) Have any of you taken Animal Management Level 3?
3 b) if yes, what textbooks did you use?

Ebay and Amazon marketplace or get a job. Study materials are vital. Alternatively order from the library.

I dont really like flashcards. Motes and mindmaps work better for me. Just get organised and be consistent.

I will have a look! Unfortunately I am unable to get a job (I had to have a special form signed by my doctor because of my health) 😭 and yup organisation is definitely the key!

    Thank you

And if you are studying at college then ask them if they have a noticeboard and maybe you can get one of the students who has just sat the course to sell their books.

There are free resources online that you should try. Seneca Learning is the best, but there is also Quizzlet. I highly recommend those!

Also, maybe ask an older student if you can borrow their gcse books from last year?
